In typical CONTACT Pittsburgh volunteer fashion, the phone worker came out carrying a trash bag. She informed us that there was a snake in the phone room, she was afraid of snakes and so she captured it in the trash bag for us to remove from the office. I don’t know about you, but if I’m afraid of snakes, I’m not putting it in a trash bag – I’m running screaming from the room! In fact, the staff decided that we should make sure there wasn’t a snake nest in the office. As their fearless leader, I delegated the hunting task to one of the employees and I tiptoed several feet behind them during their search. Fortunately we didn’t find any more snakes.

While I think that the snake is probably more of a benefit than a hinderance, I agree with you – I don’t want to see it!
